I use this sugar all the time, mostly for baking. Also mix with cocoa for homemade "milo". Seems to give the kids less of a sugar high than the other sugars and it's just as sweet. Love that I can order it online as it's not available from the little supermarket in our country town....

I have been using this sugar in fruit puddings(ie. cranberry, cherry & almond; also pear, cranberry & walnut) that I make for dessert for my restaurant. I find that it has the same properties as brown sugar when used in cooking, but does not have the sickly sweetness. It allows the flavour of the fruits to come through beautifully!...

I love panela as it is a healthy alternative to sugar for my young ones. The flavour is lovely and our whole family enjoys it. Also love the ability to buy bulk amounts as it is so much easier :)...
