Tabasco is a brand of hot sauce made from tabasco peppers. It’s a light green sauce with a watery and thin consistency that delivers a bright tangy flavour to your tastebuds.
The tabasco sauce has a medium burn and adds the perfect touch of flavour to almost anything. It can be used to enhance flavour in seafood, Mexican or anything else from salads to stir fry. You can also add it to a cooked dish such as chicken or use it in a marinade however many prefer this sauce in its raw uncooked form as it is known to lose a bit of its kick once heated.
How spicy you ask? We’d say it’s at a medium spice level. It’s not too hot to handle, but has a nice kick to it.
