If you’ve only ever purchased your hazelnuts from the supermarkets, well well well, you’re in for a treat! Our raw hazelnuts are scrumptious! They’re creamy, sweet and rich in flavour, crunchy in texture and fresh in aroma.
When it comes to cooking, hazelnuts have you covered in many areas. They can be cooked with vegetables including carrots, beans and cauliflower; slotted into salads and coleslaws and included in risottos and pasta dishes. They’re great for cakes, cookies and biscuits too. Add some to your breakfast cereal or muesli, snack on them during the day or try roasting them for a snack. They seem to slot in anywhere!
Like other nuts, hazelnuts are rich in nutrients and have a high content of protein, fats, vitamins and minerals. Rich in vitamin E, copper and magnesium, they’re here to keep those bodies healthy. They also contain healthy fats and fibre which is a plus!
