Spirulina is a Green algae which is supremely high in protein while containing a wide variety of vitamins and minerals.

The powder contains a powerful plant based protein called phycocyanin.

There is research to suggest that this may have antioxidant, pain relief, anti-inflammatory and brain protective properties.

A good many of the antioxidants in Spirulina have anti-inflammatory effects in the body.
