It has a very light briny taste, and a delicate crunch making it much appreciated as a condiment. The lovely potent taste goes well as table salt as well, a small pinch goes a long way!
Because it is a moist salt, it does not suck all the moisture out of food when used as a finishing salt, unlike kosher salt which makes it great for cooking if you’re not wanting it to take over the dish.
