I’m sure you’ve heard someone you know mention the words ‘Himalayan Salt’ in the past year or so, right? This pink-coloured salt is a delicious addition to recipes and can be used as a convenient and flavoursome condiment, imparting a rich flavour that enhances the taste of any dish, or you could simply just choose to use it as your every day table salt - whatever works for you!
We find it works really well crushed up in a mortar and pestle with fresh herbs or dried spices. Next time you have some friends over - try mixing it with peppercorns, sesame, coriander and cumin seeds for a delicious savoury sprinkle or as an accompaniment to dipping oil, balsamic and crusty bread.
Some people even use pink Himalayan salt as a cooking surface. Large blocks of the salt can be purchased and used to grill, sear and impart a salty flavour to meats and other foods.
We also sell it in a fine form if you’re looking for something a little less bulky and coarse - just search it!
