Vietnamese rice paper (bánh tráng) is a delicately thin rice sheet with a slight resemblance to paper. It’s so thin that it appears almost translucent!
Classic fillings include pork belly and shrimp/prawns along with thin rice noodles but you can substitute them for your favourite protein and noodles. As for the greens, you can add as much as your heart desires - we suggest, bean sprouts, mint, lettuce, Thai Basil and coriander leaves..
It’s an activity the whole family can join in on making too! Simply soak in a shallow bowl of water, then add vermicelli noodles and another filling of your choice, fold and serve with our delicious hoisin dipping sauce.
